The Department of Economics, Malabar Christian College organised a one day workshop for teachers of the Kozhikode District titled ‘town meeting of Economics Teachers’, in association with the Kerala State Higher Education Council, the Azim Premji University and the Centre for Development Studies. The objective of the programme was to encourage and empower college teachers to teach economics in a way that their students can relate it to the current social and economic context.
