These programmes are designed to strengthen subject expertise, enhance analytical and research skills, and prepare students for careers in academia, research, industry, media, and public service.
The admission process begins with online registration through the University of Calicut PG CAP portal, where candidates are required to submit their academic details, upload necessary documents, and generate a CAP ID. Applicants can then select and prioritize their preferred
programmes and colleges. Allotments are made based on merit, reservation norms, and eligibility criteria prescribed by the University. Candidates who are allotted seats must confirm their admission by remitting the prescribed fee online and reporting to the college within the stipulated time for document verification. Admission will be finalized only after verification of certificates and fulfillment of all eligibility requirements.
A limited number of seats are also available under the Management Quota. Applicants seeking admission under this category must compulsorily register through CAP and additionally apply through the online admission portal available on the college website by remitting the prescribed application fee. Selection will be carried out in accordance with institutional norms and eligibility conditions.
Candidates must possess a relevant bachelor’s degree with the minimum marks prescribed by the University of Calicut to be eligible for admission. It may be noted that the number of seats may be subject to change based on decisions of the University and the State Government, and the actual intake may vary from the sanctioned strength.
