About

Dr Kiran S Kumar did his graduation and post-graduation from University College, Thiruvananthapuram and did his PhD from Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Thiruvananthapuram. Before joining Malabar Christian College as Guest Faculty, he was working as guest faculty in NSS College Pandalm. His field of specializations are DNA barcoding, Phylogenetics, and Population genetics. He has got many International research publications to his credit. He also involved in several bird surveys and documentation as volunteer coordinator for WWF-India (Kerala chapter), Indian Dragonfly Society’s Odonate Survey at PTR and in Kerala Bird Atlas.
