Danie is an alumnus of Union Christian College, Aluva, where he pursued his graduation and post-graduation in English Language and Literature. He joined the Department of BA Functional English, Malabar Christian College on 9 November 2015. His areas of interests include literary theory and criticism, phonetics, and media studies. He assumed the role of Associate NCC Officer of the Naval NCC unit of Malabar Christian College after being commissioned as Sub Lieutenant on 31 August 2019.
